Last updated 18 September 2026. These terms apply to kitcad.eu and to every purchase made through it.

1. Who we are

KitCAD is the trade name under which dynamic blocks, templates and drafting tools for AutoCAD are published and sold at kitcad.eu. The blocks are built by the architects of Tra.ma in Madrid. In these terms, "KitCAD", "we", "us" and "our" mean the operator of the site:

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to your use of kitcad.eu and to every product you buy through it. By placing an order you accept them, together with our Refund policy and our Privacy policy.

Two sets of terms apply to a purchase, each to its own part. The terms of the payment provider that processes your order (section 4) govern the payment, the invoice, taxes and the refund procedure. These terms govern the product itself: what is in it, how it is delivered and what you may do with the files.

If you buy as a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be waived by contract. If you buy for a business, the consumer provisions apply only where the law extends them to you.

3. What we sell

Digital products only. Every product on kitcad.eu is digital content: AutoCAD drawing files (.dwg) containing dynamic blocks with attributes, drawing templates, title blocks, layer, scale, text, dimension and plot-style systems, and example projects. Nothing is shipped physically.

Blocks, packs and kits. Blocks can be bought one by one, in themed packs (for example Bathroom, Furniture or Doors and Windows) or in the Basic Kit and the Complete Kit, which bundle the blocks with the templates and systems. What each product includes is listed on its product page. Block counts are approximate because the catalogue keeps growing; you receive the files in the current release of the product at the time you download.

Prices. Prices are shown in euros and, for buyers in the European Union, include VAT. Elsewhere the checkout may add or adjust the tax of your country before you confirm. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout before you confirm the payment.

Training and custom work. Workshops, custom blocks, workflows and templates made to a studio's standards are agreed separately by written quote. Those services are governed by the quote together with these terms.

4. Payments and merchant of record

Payments are taken by the payment provider shown at checkout. Card and payment details go to that provider only; we never see or store them.

Where the checkout is operated by Paddle, Paddle acts as merchant of record and authorised reseller of our products: KitCAD supplies the product to Paddle and Paddle sells it to you. In that case your purchase contract is with Paddle.com Market Limited, 30 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7AU, United Kingdom, company number 8172165 (buyers in the United States and Canada contract with Paddle's local entities, as set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms). Paddle takes the payment, calculates and collects the VAT or sales tax that applies in your country, emails you the receipt and invoice, and decides and processes refunds and card disputes under Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms and Paddle's Refund Policy. If you buy for a VAT-registered business, enter its VAT number at checkout so that the invoice shows it and the reverse charge is applied where it applies.

In every other case the seller is Trama Arquitectura y Diseño, S.L. and the payment is processed by the provider you choose at checkout under that provider's terms.

What the payment provider passes on to us is limited to what we need to deliver and support your purchase: the email address you used, the product, the amounts, the country of your billing address, the transaction and invoice numbers and whether you asked to receive our emails. Our Privacy policy lists these fields and how long we keep them.

5. Delivery

Nothing is shipped physically. As soon as the payment is confirmed, the download link appears on the order confirmation page and is emailed to the address you used at checkout, normally within minutes. If nothing arrives, check your spam folder and then write to support@kitcad.eu with your order number; we will resend the link. If we cannot deliver the files for a technical reason and cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a replacement or a refund under our Refund policy.

Download links are personal. They may be limited in time or in the number of downloads; write to us if a link has expired and we will issue a new one.

6. Your licence

When the payment is confirmed we grant you a licence to the files in your purchase.

  • One architect. The licence is personal to the buyer named at checkout and covers one working seat. If several people in a studio use the blocks, each needs a seat; ask us for a studio licence.
  • Unlimited projects, for as long as you like. Use the blocks and templates in as many of your own drawings and projects as you want, commercial work included, with no time limit.
  • Client deliverables are fine. Drawings, models and documents you produce that contain the blocks may be handed to clients, consultants, builders and authorities as part of your professional work.
  • What you may not do. Sell, rent, lend, sublicense or give away the block or template files; post them on block-sharing sites or in any public repository; extract them into a competing library, block collection or product; or present them as your own work.
  • Updates. Updated files are published through the same download link and are included for the period stated on the product page.
  • Ownership. The blocks, templates, guides and everything on the site remain the property of Trama Arquitectura y Diseño, S.L. A purchase transfers a licence, not ownership. AutoCAD is a trademark of Autodesk, Inc.; KitCAD is independent of Autodesk.
  • Breach. If the rules above are broken we may end the licence and disable the download link. Drawings you have already produced are unaffected.

7. Withdrawal and refunds

Consumers in the European Union, the EEA, Switzerland and the United Kingdom have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of the transaction. For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, that right ends once the supply has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose it (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; in Spain, article 103(m) of the General Consumer and User Protection Law). By starting the download you expressly request immediate supply of the files and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends at that moment. Until then, you can withdraw within the 14 days without giving a reason.

How to request a refund, which cases we support after a download and how refunds are paid are set out in our Refund policy. For purchases processed by Paddle, Paddle decides and issues the refund under its own refund policy. When a refund or a card dispute is completed, the download link for that purchase stops working and the licence ends.

8. Requirements and compatibility

  • The blocks are AutoCAD dynamic blocks delivered as .dwg files. They work in AutoCAD 2010 and later versions.
  • Other CAD programs are not supported unless the product page says otherwise. If you are unsure whether your setup supports dynamic blocks, ask us before you buy.
  • We improve, replace and occasionally retire blocks between releases. Files you have downloaded remain yours to use under section 6.

9. Your responsibility and ours

The blocks are drafting tools. They do not check your design against building codes, standards, dimensions or site conditions. You remain the professional responsible for the drawings you produce and sign.

We take care that the blocks are accurate and work as shown on the site, and we fix defects that are reported to us. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, the products are provided as they are, without a warranty that they suit a particular project. If you buy as a consumer, the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content in your country of residence applies in full and is not limited by this paragraph.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a purchase is limited to the amount paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data or the cost of redoing work. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

10. Using the site

You may browse the site and link to any page freely. Do not scrape it, attack it, try to bypass the download links, or use its content elsewhere without permission. The texts, images, animations and drawings on the site are protected by copyright and belong to Trama Arquitectura y Diseño, S.L. or to the people who lent them to us.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when a new product or a new way of buying appears. The date at the top tells you which version you are reading. A purchase is governed by the version in force when you made it.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of that country.

If something goes wrong, write to us first; we answer personally and quickly. Disputes about a payment processed by Paddle go to Paddle under its terms. Any dispute that ends up in court is heard, for consumers, by the courts that the consumer law of your country designates, and otherwise by the courts of Madrid, Spain. Consumers may also turn to the consumer dispute bodies of their country.
