Refund policy

Everything sold on kitcad.eu is digital content, delivered as a download. There is nothing to return, so this policy explains when you can get your money back and how.
Your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the EEA, Switzerland or the United Kingdom, you may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the transaction without giving a reason and receive a full refund.
Because our products are digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, the law ends that right once the supply has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose it (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; in Spain, article 103(m) of the General Consumer and User Protection Law). By starting the download you expressly request immediate supply of the files and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends at that moment. Until you start the download, the 14-day right applies in full.
After you have downloaded
Once the download has started, a refund is no longer a right, but we will support a refund request made within 14 days of the purchase in these cases:
- Duplicate charge. The same address was charged twice for the same product within a short time.
- Files that cannot be used. The files will not download or will not open in a supported version of AutoCAD, and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time.
- Wrong product, not yet downloaded. You bought one product meaning to buy another and the download link has not been used. We will refund it, or swap you to the right product and settle the difference.
These are not refund cases: changing your mind after downloading; discovering that your CAD program or AutoCAD version does not support dynamic blocks (the requirements are listed in our Terms of service and on the product pages); or the blocks not being what you expected. Support questions are always welcome at support@kitcad.eu, and most problems are solved within a day.
How to request a refund
- Write to support@kitcad.eu from the address you used at checkout, with your order number and, if the files do not work, a short description of the problem. Screenshots or error messages help.
- If your purchase was processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, you can also use the support link in the receipt Paddle emailed you, or go to paddle.net and choose "Request refund". Paddle decides and issues refunds for those purchases under Paddle's Refund Policy; consumers in the EU also find a withdrawal button in Paddle's customer portal during the 14 days.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method, in full, within 14 days of approval. When a refund or a card dispute is completed, the download link for that purchase stops working and the licence to the files ends.
Moving to a larger product
If you bought a pack or a kit and later want a larger one, email us before buying the second one. We will send you a single-use discount code worth what you paid for the smaller product, so you pay only the difference. The code applies to one purchase of a larger product and cannot be applied after that purchase is made.
